General Instructions:

The District School Board of Niagara (hereafter referred to as the DSBN) hereby invites submissions to pre-qualify suppliers of record for the supply and delivery or pickup of computer parts for a term of one (1) year commencing September 1, 2024 and ending August 31, 2025.
Consideration will be given to renew the contract for four (4) separate one-year periods ending August 31, 2029. The DSBN will be pre-qualifying multiple suppliers.
Suppliers that do not meet the original submission deadline are still eligible and encouraged to submit a proposal. Suppliers may submit a Pre-qualification proposal at any time throughout the duration of the contract. Additional Supplier(s) will be added to the list as they are received and reviewed by DSBN staff.
 

OBJECTIVE:

To request competitive proposals and establish, for the term noted herein, supplier(s) of IT related computer parts, incorporating the systems contract philosophy of improving the ordering of low dollar value, repetitively used supplies with a minimum of administrative expense.
There is no guarantee that any/all items will be purchased. Parts would be ordered on an as needed basis. Suppliers achieving pre-qualification for Minimum Discount % categories will not be assigned or automatically contracted for purchases. Pre-qualified Suppliers will be deemed as acceptable and recommended as Suppliers from whom the DSBN’s Information Technology Services staff may choose to purchase.
This is not an all-inclusive list. Other computer parts may be required.
Proponents scoring 60% or higher on the evaluation criteria will be prequalified to provide parts on an as needed basis subject to best fit, as defined below.
Additional Supplier(s) will be reviewed by DSBN staff for possible addition to the prequalified vendor list as they are received and reviewed. Responsive and responsible Proponents scoring 60% or higher on the evaluation criteria will be prequalified to provide supplies on an as needed basis subject to best fit, as defined below, throughout the life of the Contract.
